Campaign Story
For over four challenging years, we’ve been on a journey to fulfill our deepest desire of becoming parents. We’ve faced numerous obstacles, including surgery on my ovaries, several outpatient procedures, countless blood draws, multiple ultrasounds to monitor progress, and the heart-wrenching experience of a miscarriage in July of 2023 and then 2 chemical pregnancies in 2024.
While we’ve known about my PCOS diagnosis throughout this entire journey, it’s only recently that we discovered potential thyroid issues as an additional hurdle to overcome.
It took us a long time to consider IVF; we were in denial that we wouldn’t be able to get pregnant on our own. We’ve sought the expertise of several care teams along the way, and we’re now under the care of the highly acclaimed Dr. Jarrett of Indiana Fertility Institute. Each round of fertility treatment has involved blood draws, multiple ultrasounds to monitor progress, and thousands of dollars in medication.
Asking for help is not easy, but we are incredibly fortunate to have a supportive community that wants to rally around us. Your generous contributions will not only help us cover the costs of IVF treatment but will also provide the hope and strength we need to keep moving forward on our path to parenthood.
